Method. FilmyChill checks streaming availability every day in eight countries and records the
first date each film appears with a provider. The window is that date minus the film's theatrical
release date. Straight-to-streaming titles and gaps over two years are excluded, since neither is a
theatrical window. Groups with fewer than three films are not shown. This is a record of when a film
became visible to us, which is normally the day it drops but is not a studio announcement.
