What the audience says
Kaala is a middling Tamil film — fine for a one-time watch but unlikely to stay with you. It carries a 6.4/10 on TMDB across 73 ratings — squarely mid-table.
Should you spend 2h 46m on it?
2h 46m of Tamil action with a crime streak. At this length it's the whole evening's plan, not something to slot in after dinner.
Don't watch this if…
- you want a safe bet — that rating rests on only 73 votes
- you want something you can finish quickly — it runs 2h 46m
- Why
- At 6.4/10 from 73 ratings, audiences are split; the genre fit matters more than the score here.
- Skip if
- you want something you can finish before a reasonable bedtime
- Best for
- A night with nothing after it
