What the audience says
Happy New Year is a middling Hindi film — fine for a one-time watch but unlikely to stay with you. It's sitting at 6.1/10 on TMDB across 308 ratings, which puts it around the middle of the pack.
Should you spend 3h on it?
3h of Hindi crime with comedy threaded through. At this length it's the whole evening's plan, not something to slot in after dinner.
