Copyright & takedown requests

Short version: FilmyChill does not host, upload, stream or link to copies of any film or show. It lists what is new and where it is officially available, with ratings and short reviews. If you think something on this site infringes your copyright, email us and we will deal with it quickly.

What FilmyChill publishes

• Film and show information — titles, dates, cast and posters — from TMDB, used under its API terms.
• Where-to-watch information — which official services carry a title — from JustWatch.
• Official trailers, embedded from YouTube. The video stays on YouTube; FilmyChill stores no video files.
• Our own words: verdicts, ratings, summaries and the FilmyChill Score.

There are no download links, no streams and no links to unofficial copies anywhere on the site.

How to report a copyright concern

Please include:

• the work you own or represent (for example the film, poster or text);
• the exact FilmyChill page address(es) where it appears;
• your name, the company you represent (if any), and how to reach you;
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
• a statement that the information in your request is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
• your full name as a signature.

What happens next

We read every request. If the material infringes, we remove or change it and reply to confirm. If something is unclear, we reply to ask. A trailer can be removed from our page on request; the video itself is hosted by YouTube, which handles reports about it through its own copyright process.

FilmyChill is a small independent site. Before filing a takedown with Google or another search engine, please email us: we can usually remove material faster than a search-engine process, and it avoids removing pages that only describe a film and say where it is legally available.
