What the audience says
Empire is a dependable English series — it does what it sets out to do. It carries a 7.1/10 on TMDB across 762 ratings — comfortably clear of the pack.
Is it worth starting?
This is 6 seasons deep — English drama with a soap streak, not one for younger kids. Several seasons in, so it's a commitment to start rather than a one-night sampler.
