Beast is a hard film to make a case for on current ratings. It's sitting at 5.2/10 on TMDB across 89 ratings, which puts it below the bar for most viewers.
Should you spend 2h 35m on it?
2h 35m of Tamil action with comedy threaded through. A little over the usual, so start it earlier than you think.
Don't watch this if…
- you take the score at face value — 89 votes is a thin sample
- you want something you can finish quickly — it runs 2h 35m
- Why
- It's rated 5.2/10 on 89 ratings, which is a weak reception by any reading.
- Skip if
- you'd rather the plot moved on people than on set pieces
- Best for
- A night you can give it your full attention
