What the audience says
The few people who have rated Maareesan mostly like this Tamil film. It's sitting at 7.1/10 on TMDB across 28 ratings — a small sample, so treat it with caution. Budget a full evening — it runs a hefty 152 minutes. In India you can stream it on Netflix.
Should you spend 2h 32m on it?
2h 32m of Tamil thriller with a drama streak, not one for younger kids. Only 28 people have rated it, so treat that 7.1 as an early signal rather than a verdict.
