What the audience says
Trance is a dependable Malayalam film — it does what it sets out to do. It's sitting at 6.8/10 on TMDB across 66 ratings, which puts it around the middle of the pack. Budget a full evening — it runs a hefty 170 minutes. In India you can stream it on Prime Video, JioHotstar, aha.
Should you spend 2h 50m on it?
2h 50m of Malayalam thriller with drama threaded through, not one for younger kids. At this length it's the whole evening's plan, not something to slot in after dinner.
